Blackmon Warehouse Systems Inc. was founded
in 1972 by Yancy Ned Blackmon.
BWS Inc., has approximately 100,000
square feet of inside storage and 3 acres of outside storage. We have an
on-site trucking agency that provides our local drayage to and from all
ports located in Charleston, SC.
We provide a wide range of services for
our customers' logistic requirements. A sampling of our solutions menu
includes: storage, cross docking, loading and unloading containers, flat
racks for import and export shipping, trans loading of oversize cargo for
inland and export shipping. Specialized inland transportation direct to all
U.S. points; Utilizing several motor carriers with 48-state ICC authority.
The type of equipment that we have available consists of vans, flat-beds,
and specialized trailers, drop-decks, and low-boys.
